Connect Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP-enabled client to Wellsite — or skip setup entirely and use Search in the app.
Two ways to ask
Search — no setup
Every account includes Search right on wellsite.com — the same engine and the same 41 tools, with saved threads. Nothing to configure.
Open Search ›The connector — this page
Bring the same brain into Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client. One OAuth sign-in; your client inherits the full data lake and every model.

Capabilities
What your AI can do
Look up wells
Search by API number, lease name, or operator. Retrieve completion date, formation, depth, plugged status, and cumulative production.
Pull production history
Monthly oil, gas, and condensate for a well, operator, or county. Up to 60 months of history.
Run the well models
Arps decline fits with forecast and EUR, NPV/PV10/payback against your price deck, expected-vs-actual benchmarking, anomaly scoring, and rules-based diagnosis that says when it can't judge.
Screen & rank
Top producers, steepest decliners, fastest growers, custom thresholds — across any operator, county, or the whole data lake.
Track permits
Find permits by operator, district, county, or within a radius of any point. Resolve a permit to its wellbore and back.
Set agents
Search+Watch any well, operator, lease, permit, or commodity price. Conditions: % change, threshold cross, shut-in, restart, stale data, new permit — by email, SMS, or webhook.
Exports
Search+Export any query as CSV — 19 datasets, delivered by presigned link with an email or text when the file is ready.

All 41 tools
Every MCP tool the Wellsite connector exposes — the same set behind Search. Most read tools accept an export flag that turns the result into a CSV download (Search+).
