Add https://mcp.wellsite.com as a remote MCP server in your AI client settings. You'll be prompted to sign in with your Wellsite account via OAuth — no API keys required.
A Wellsite account is required. Sign up at app.wellsite.com.
No API keys needed. OAuth handles authentication securely.
Alert and export features require a Premium subscription ($50/month).
Capabilities
What Claude can do
Look up wells
Search by API number, lease name, or operator. Retrieve completion date, formation, depth, plugged status, and cumulative production.
Pull production history
Monthly oil, gas, and condensate for a well, operator, or county. Up to 60 months of history.
Benchmark performance
Compare a well to its county average or offset operators. Identify outperformers and underperformers.
Screen operators
Rank by production, growth rate, well count, or cumulative output. Narrow by county or district.
Track permits
Find permits by operator, district, county, or proximity. Resolve a permit to its wellbore and back.
Set alerts
PremiumNotify by email, SMS, or webhook when a production threshold is crossed — a heads-up for you or a trigger for your systems. Set once, Wellsite watches continuously.
Reports
PremiumGenerate a downloadable report (CSV). Works for any query — wells, production history, permit searches, operator rankings.
